FAQ

What is a Home Watch service?

Charlotte Home Watch is a service for owners of second homes and/or homes where they are away for short or long periods of time. We provide periodic inspections of your home or condo’s exterior and interior in order to discover and report to your problems or potential issues that can arise and the corrective action needed.

Why do I need a Home Watch service?

Leaving a home unattended for even short periods of time can be a dangerous thing. So many things can happen while you’re away: break-ins, vandalism, water line breaks, electrical problems, animal or insect damage, mold, storm damage, etc. Relying on a neighbor or relative to watch your home is risky and unfair to them. Charlotte Home Watch is your affordable professional to give you peace of mind.

What if a situation happens?

Our experience and thorough inspection of your home or condo enables us to handle most any problem in a timely fashion. In the case of an emergency we will handle the situation in the quickest way possible. In a non-emergency, you will be contacted to discuss a course of action.

Is a Home Watch service a security service?

Charlotte Home Watch is not a security service. However, our service can help be a deterrent to thieves and vandals by making your home look more attended and lived in.

How much does your Home Watch service cost?

Each property is unique therefore the cost varies according to size of your home and other factors. Our rates are very affordable and a small price for your peace of mind. Rates can be as low as under $40 per visit for single family homes and $25 for condos. Charlotte Home Watch will gladly furnish you a free evaluation of your property.
